Can Bill Gates stop hurricanes? Scientists doubt it
The billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates is trying to controll the weather. He and other scientists have worked in order to reduce the danger of hurricanes; the notion is simple: they will cool ocean temperatures installing some barges equiped with two conduits each one; The first conduit will push the warm water from the ocean's surface down and the other conduit will bring up cold water where it lies deep undersea. This project will be working on the hurricane’s areas, but the scientists said that this project is excessively expensive.
It works because the hurricanes are fueled with warm water; the cool water reduce the speed of its destructive force.
Some experts of this topic have proposed their opinions. William Gray a reknowed hurricane expert said "The problem is the storms come up so rapidly" a professor of atmospheric science at Colorado State University. "You only get two to three days warning. It's very difficult to bring up enough cold water in two to three days to have much effect."
This ambitious project could help, but is harder to stop definitively a hurricane it is too powerful. Mr Bill Gates is still working on his big experiment, developing the technology neccesary to stop these naturals disasters. I think that is a good way to invest money, although he’ll get a lot of money if his project is succesful. The reactions hadn’t been pretty; the experts said that is cheaper reconstruct a city than introduce this technology in USA.

Good! you could get the pic smaller.
ResponderEliminarI would like you to upload the e-portfolio chart to see how your autonomous learning tasks have been planned.
WOW! I really found this report very interesting. I think that Mr. Bill Gates ideas have allwaus been the kind of a genious..., but I would prefer that this huge amount of money and effort, was better used in supporting education in poor countries.
ResponderEliminarI am in agreement with u tata. These problems could be solved by taking care about the environment and isnt too late to start doing this. There are another troubles, so we should organise our priorities
